Refund & Return Policy
1. Our Artisan Guarantee & Return Window
Grand Luden stands uncompromisingly behind the quality of the premium board games we curate. If you are not entirely satisfied with your acquisition, we offer a 30-day return window starting from the date of confirmed delivery. Our goal is to ensure that every box in your collection meets the highest standards of physical production and mechanical excellence. To initiate a return, you must contact our support team within this 30-day period to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
2. Eligibility for Full Refunds
To qualify for a full refund (excluding original shipping logistics costs), the board game must be returned in its original, unopened shrink-wrap, absolutely free of any transit damage, corner dents, or tears. Because collector's editions derive much of their value from pristine condition, any returned item that has been opened, unpunched, or played will be subject to a meticulous component audit by our team. Opened items returned in flawless condition may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, as they can no longer be sold as brand new.
3. Procedure for Damaged Components
We utilize triple-layer protective packaging, but in the rare event that your game arrives with a crushed box or manufacturing defect (e.g., missing wooden meeples, misprinted cards, warped player boards), you do not need to return the entire game. Please email support@grandluden.com with your order number and clear, well-lit photographs of the damage or defect. We maintain direct channels with publishers and will expedite the shipping of replacement parts directly to you at zero additional cost.
4. Refund Processing Timeline
Once your returned package is received at our London studio, our curation team will inspect the item within two business days. Upon approval of the return condition, we will process your refund immediately. The funds will be credited back to your original method of payment. Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3 to 7 business days for the credit to formally post to your account statement.
5. Exchanges for Alternative Titles
If you have received a game as a gift, or decide that a different complexity weight or mechanical style better suits your group, we gladly facilitate exchanges. The same eligibility rules apply regarding the condition of the shrink-wrap. If the exchanged item is of higher value, you will be invoiced for the difference; if it is of lower value, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method or issued as store credit.
6. Contact for Logistics
Please do not send acquisitions back to the manufacturer or ship them to our studio without first acquiring an RMA number. Doing so may result in the loss of the parcel and the forfeiture of your refund.
